KROSINO offers custom CNC milling services for plastic and metal parts. With our multi-axis CNC machining centers, we can produce a variety of simple and complex CNC milled parts. Whether you need prototypes or product parts, our experienced teams can provide them with high standards and cost-effectiveness. We also have many surface finish options so that your machined part is exactly what you need it to be.

What Is CNC Milling?
CNC milling is a manufacturing process that uses computer-controlled machines to remove material from a workpiece. Generally regarded as the most common machining process, which refers to utilizing a CNC milling cutter to do circular motion and create milled parts with certain shapes and details in a stationary piece, including slots, holes, notches, grooves, etc.
Tolerance of CNC Milling
Tolerance and standard finish can be used in order to help ensure quality and consistency in the milling process. we follow the ISO 2768 standards for both machined plastic and metal parts. This ensures that our products meet the highest quality standards. Typically, we can hold a CNC machining tolerance from ±0.005" (±0.12mm) to ±0.002" (±0.05mm) or even tight tolerance of ±0.01mm

3-Axis, 4-Axis and 5-Axis
Krosino most commonly used are 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling. 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines operate on the X, Y, and Z axes, which are also commonly used milling process in most other factories. They are often applied to produce parts with relatively simple geometry. 5-axis CNC machines are the high standard and advanced type of CNC mill, which represents the manufacturing capabilities of custom CNC milling.

CNC Milling FAQs
Q1. How does CNC milling work?
CNC milling is a type of machining that uses computer numerical control (CNC) technology to remove excess material from a workpiece. It begins with a CAD file. This file is used to create a toolpath, which is a set of instructions that tells the CNC lathes how to move the cutting tools across the workpiece.
Q2. How do I get a manufacturing quote?
Please offer us 2D or 3D drawings (with material, dimension, tolerance, surface treatment and other technical requirement etc.), quantity, application or samples. Krosino gives you instant pricing and lead times for your custom parts. You could send the drawings online or to our mailbox: charles911(at)sinomechatronic.com. In most cases, we respond Quotation within 24 business hours of receiving an RFQ. If the quote is delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Q3. Who is responsible for my project?
Each project is assigned a sales staff and our project engineer, who will be there from project launch to the delivery of your parts.
Q4. What file types do you support for an instant quote?
Krosino prefers 3D CAD file in format STEP, IGS, STL. 2D CAD drawings with reference dimensions in format DWG and PDF.
Q5. What is your MOQ (minimum order quantity)?
No minimum order quantity requirements. MOQ depends on our client's needs, besides, we welcome trial order before mass-production. Our services can support your scale from one-off prototypes all the way to mid- and high-volume production.
Q6. What is the production period for CNC milling?
It varies a lot depending on product dimension, technical requirements and quantity. We always try to meet customers' requirement by adjusting our workshop schedule.
Q7. What tolerances can Krosino's CNC milling achieve?
There is not a given set of tolerances that fits all processes and materials. In every case, the final tolerances on your part will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: part size, design geometry, materials, surface finish. Krosino's general tolerance is applied to ISO 2768 (medium) for machined plastic and ISO 2768 (fine) for machined metals.GET AN INSTANT QUOTE | CNC Milling PARTSStart Whatsapp Chat Start Teams Chat
